Terms & Conditions

Last updated: July 21, 2026

1. Who you're contracting with

Hello, Middle School (the "Service") is operated by Sheley Bressler ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. Who can use the Service

The Service is designed for families with middle-school-aged children. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian must purchase and manage the account. By using the Service you confirm you have the authority to accept these terms and that any information you provide is accurate.

3. What we provide

The Service is a library of interactive social-intelligence missions, discussion prompts, and related content for middle schoolers and their grown-ups. We may add, change, or remove content at any time.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service unlawfully or for fraud, spam, or abuse;
  • infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy;
  • attempt to interfere with the security of the Service (malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering);
  • resell, redistribute, or share your account access with others outside your household;
  • circumvent any technical limits or paywalls.

5. Account security

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for any activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized use.

6. Intellectual property

All content, artwork, characters, videos, audio, and software in the Service are owned by Sheley Bressler and protected by copyright and other IP laws. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial family use while your account is active.

7. Payments, billing, and refunds

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for how refunds work.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep the Service running smoothly, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, don't pay amounts owed, create security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. You can stop using the Service at any time.

10. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages (like loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law prohibits such limits.

11. Your content

If you submit content (feedback, messages, etc.), you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to operate and improve the Service. You're responsible for what you submit and must have the right to submit it.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer law requires otherwise.

14. Contact

Questions about these terms? Contact us through the support channel listed on paddle.net for billing, or reach out via the Service for anything else.
